Submission format:
There are two submission tracks as follows:
Track 1 (Short paper track): The short paper is limited to a maximum of 2 pages of body text in the extended abstract style.
Track 2 (Completed paper track): The completed paper is limited to a maximum of 8 pages of body text.
For both tracks, the submission must be printable on 8.5 x 11-inch paper. Papers must be single-spaced and must use 12-point Times New Roman font with one-inch margins on all four sides. Up to extra pages can be used for references, figures, and tables.
*Important* Papers that do not comply with submission format requirement may be desk rejected.
Best paper awards:
One completed paper will be selected as the best paper with a $1,000 prize, and one short paper will be selected as the best short paper with a $500 prize.
Submission FAQs:
1) Can I submit a paper that was submitted to MSISR previously?
A paper that was previously submitted to MSISR as a short paper can be submitted as a completed paper.
A paper that was previously submitted to MSISR as a completed paper cannot be submitted to MSISR again.
2) Can I submit a paper that is under review at another conference/journal to MSISR?
Yes, you can submit a paper that is under review at another conference/journal to MSISR.
3) Can I submit a paper that was accepted at another conference/journal to MSISR?
A paper that was accepted for presentation at another conference can be submitted to MSISR.
A paper that was accepted for publication at a journal should not be submitted to MSISR.
4) After submitting to MSISR, can I submit the same paper to another conference/journal?
MSISR does not take ownership of paper copyrights. Therefore, a paper that was submitted to MSISR can be submitted to another conference/journal if you wish.
